Descripció i   Metodologia:   This course deals with CLIL. It is intended for teachers who want to teach non-linguistic content through a foreign language. It is also for teachers who wish to engage with pedagogic issues, including strategies, techniques and resources for introducing and developing the approach in their classrooms.
Today, there is much concern in our society to provide youngsters with a foreign language effectively. It is broadly perceived that, though students spend many hours trying to learn a particular foreign language, they are unable to use it in real-life situations at the end of their compulsory studies. CLIL tries to bridge this gap between language lessons and real life by placing youngsters in an environment where the foreign language appears naturally in context.
  
Objectius   1.To reflect on the CLIL theoretical and practical framework.
2.To share and analyze CLIL planning examples.
3.To create a bank of strategies to design and develop CLIL teaching units.
4.To analyse a set of assessment tools

Avaluació   Minimum attendance: 80% of face to face hours.

Participants will have to read several articles related to the course content and answer comprehension questions and/or discuss it with their peers. They will also have to design and present a short CLIL activity that integrates the principles seen during the course.

Online tasks:
Participants will have to complete one task each day related to the content seen during the session. These tasks include reading articles and formulating questions, researching information, planning a short activity and preparing a short presentation. Some of these tasks will be begun during the session and finished or continued at home.
  
Requisits de  certificació   Minimum attendance: 80% of face to face hours.
